Painting portraits is my passion.  I am fascinated by people of all ages.  Capturing an expression, the twinkle in an eye or the tenderness of a smile motivates my work.  It is thrilling when a portrait transcends the stage of shapes and lines on a canvas and begins to look back at you.  One of my favorite parts of being a portrait artist is getting to know my patrons.  When I can create something that brings joy and embodies their love for their family, I remain deeply satisfied and grateful.
